today was non-profit day

It's a good thing I didn't have a pesky job to contend with. I spent an hour from 4 o'clock meeting with a volunteer who had come forward to donate his talents as a facilitator in a strategic planning session. Then at 5 o'clock, I chaired a meeting of the IT committee of my other board, to keep the ball rolling on a substantial capacity-building project that's encountered major obstacles with a vendor. And then at 7 o'clock it was time to leave for a monthly meeting of the local ward-level advocacy group in that same organization.
Mind you, the job search did consume the bulk of the day.
