earthquakes make for lousy bedfellows

Last night I was up fairly late working on various projects. I needed some quality sleep.Instead, I was woken at around 02:30 by the laundry drying racks blowing over on the balcony. Then an hour later by little The Boy, who insisted on sleeping with us. Then at around 04:30 there was an earthquake that rattled Mari and me awake (but not The Boy). And after that I couldn't go back to sleep. Yaargh.
