This is about a kid who gets into a fight with his girlfriend and accidentally kills her. He goes to jail eventually, but his dad does, too, 'cos he destroyed evidence when the cops first turn up looking for the kid. The movie is about the family being torn to shreds by the ordeal, as the trial looms and as the town turns against them.
