movie review - Thunderbolts*
somewhere over Eurasia, 2025.11.27
I started watching this on a flight west-bound to Europe, and finished it on the return flight. It is an entertaining take on superhuman life, with the superhumans being all too human. Also, the way the story handled the various villains was original (for the genre) in avoiding a one-note villain and a straight-on kinetic battle as the means of resolution. I also liked that the setting was the ruins of the battles fought by more powerful entities such as the Avengers. It trips over itself after the main conflict is resolved, but then it's only a superhero story.
Recommended.
I find it a bit odd to recommend this after not recommending "Amsterdam", but here we are.
