built a table

The Girl and I built a table today for her mum as a new standing desk. It's one of the smaller models I've seen, a fetching model with its drive bar exposed so that when the table's going up and down you can watch it go. It was The Girl's first furniture assembly, which I think sounds wrong but I guess she'd know.
It came after a day of the sort of things you do as the year is winding down; your mandatory compliance training, year end reviews, oceans of aging emails, using the last of your budgets. One more day of that tomorrow, and I'm done for the year.
