Missed my son's event at school today because I had to leave town. I've come on a short business trip to Fukuoka, where we're opening our new IT Disaster Recovery office. Unlike previous efforts, this one's permanent and staffed. I expect that it will eventually become the center of gravity for my division as the years go by.
But I discovered that I've without the migraine meds I need 3-4 times a week. It's only two days but .. yikes!
Three good things that happened today:
- Found a great - and inexpensive place for dinner
- Got to wander the river area in Fukuoka after dinner with my camera
- The flight was much less bumpy than I expected given there was a 'gale warning'
