I watched this again with my daughter and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I realized on a second viewing -- some 23 years after having first seen it -- that it is a good deal smarter than several Star Trek offerings. It's got a great cast, a solid story, and just a great vibe to it.

Strongly recommended.
