movie review - Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Kokubunji, 2022.10.04

I spent the first twenty percent of this movie thinking that I was seeing a cartoon prelude to a live action movie. By the time I realized that what I was seeing was the movie, I had settled in to see it through with my daughter. I can't say it delivered on my uneasy investment. My daughter gave up at some point to go to have a shower before bed. The entirety is rather boring, this might be the most boring movie I've ever completed.

Not recommended.

rand()m quote

Selfish leaders increase risk by placing themselves first. It's a fundamental mistake to assume that what is good for us personally is mutually exclusive to what is good for everyone. That kind of zero-sum game is for cowards, and in the end, we all pay the price for this type of latent, toxic leadership.
