movie review - Penguins of Madagascar: The Movie

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Kokubunji, 2021.08.22

This is a spy farce starring the penguins from the Madagascar movie which I want to say was fifteen years ago or more. As absurd as a spy movie featuring anarchic penguins might sound, this also includes their origin story and a bonkers plot by villains to turn humans into animals.

It's mostly harmless.

Recommended. For "movie night" with the kids.
