My boss is going back to Europe for failing to deliver on a major risk project. But our loss is .. our gain! He published a list of stuff he wanted to sell, and one of those was a little-used piano at about 1/3 of its new price.
So that's now ours. Mari was going to spend around as much on a new (but much less capable) piano sometime soon, now that she's working again. But instead we have something that looks brand new and sounds astonishingly good for an electric. Everyone has resumed playing. The Boy sounded like he'd never been away.
