migraine report
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words

I was thinking back across the year and realized that I may have gotten through the year without a day lost to a migraine. That would probably be the first year since about 1975. I had occasion to take about sixty of my migraine pills from mid March through the end of the year, which is about 1.2 a week, but I was doing so to contain the worst of the headaches. I certainly had two near-lost days, one of which was on the day we were supposed to have our anniversary dinner. But it was a hell of a run!
