Today it snowed a lot. I reckon about 8cm of snow fell in the space of four or five hours. Which I believe is more than I saw it snow the entire five winters I lived in Japan the first time - combined.

I eventually went out in the aftermath to take some photos of the enormous cemetery in my area (it's on the hill in the distance of the photo above). The sun was heading down on a still-overcast day, not exactly the golden hour but nice enough with the snow already melting and the sakura in blossom.
