I mentioned to Mari that I noticed when getting money at an ATM that the ATM had a currency button. Not one that allowed you to select various currencies; it just let you select yen.

And it was mandatory to get the money.

I wonder why it was designed that way, what possible purpose would stocking various currencies in an ATM at a 7-11 serve? Especially when the button is clearly marked '円'!
