One of the pleasures of moving out of Canada is dumping your Canadian banks.
In all-too-typical exchange they had made it impossible for me to claim the points on the "cash-back" credit card over the past few months, claiming in their "interactive" voice response system that they only had time for dealing with deferrals and other COVID-related business. They had made it impossible to do so on their website, then in the voice system directed me to the website. So when I cancelled the card they asked where they could send the check.
