Today I made the trek out to the south-eastern reaches of the Tokyo "ku", to visit an old friend: Satoi-san. We caught up over nihonshu and pinot noir, and I left a touch early because the jetlag was still killing me. Evenings are the worst for me, still.
It had been nine years, but it was like old times!
