How It Ends

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-seven years and one million words

Toronto, 2018.08.01

This is a movie about a handful of characters weathering the end of the world. An unexplained and potentially global geo-physical event is the trigger, and what follows is a descent into bewildering struggle as the survivors cling to the last shreds of safety. It ends with a dis-satisfactory glimpse of them trying to out-drive the shock-waves of the event enveloping the Pacific Northwest. But before then there's an unpleasant encounter that fails to find a purpose and wraps up without really adding anything.

Not recommended.
