It feels strangely good to be back; it must be the jetlag, which is monumental. I got on my beater and did some errands today, probably racking up 20km. Thanks to the jetlag, I didn't get out of the house until 19:30 or so, and of course one of my planned stops was a store that was already closed.
Ah well, I have "toasted soy flour" with which to attempt a recreation of the pancakes I made for the family that I found so good.
