here comes vacation

twenty-eight years and a million words

We're going on vacation and my fourth sinus infection of the year just keeps getting worse. It's always something! But, it's the vacation - the only one I'll take this year - that we'll remember, not that ol' dad was his usual run-down self.

Three reasons to be thankful:

1. It's not like I'm in a hospital.
2. It's not a once-in-a-lifetime trip, just a jaunt up to cottage country.
3. If I get worse, I won't even need travel insurance.
