twenty-eight years and a million words

Goodbye, first half of 2017: you took a friend, you took my job, and you thwarted my fishing - here's to the second half.

And to kick off a better half, I'm starting a whole new chapter. A new job, a new training course, and a renewed outlook.

Three good things that happened today:

1. We had a fine dinner, we four, together.
2. A difficult six months is past.
3. A new chapter begins.
