I lost my job today in a restructuring that saw 4/10 members of the management team gone, among others. I've been reaching out to people and I understand this is quite a week for layoffs. RBC, Canadian Tire, Enbridge, Scalar Decisions.... But at the same time, I've been offered some great advice and provided with some solid offers of help as well.
P.S. I cycled in some pretty heavy rain for that terminal two-hour stint in the office, but at least I didn't pay $6 for the express bus.
