twenty-eight years and a million words

Today I saw a driver pull up onto the sidewalk to pass a taxi that had stopped with its blinkers going. The woman driving the thing ignored several (15-20) pedestrians (what were the doing on the sidewalk??) who all just seemed to stop in their tracks as she went about her obviously vital business saving the universe or whatever.

Three reasons to be thankful:

1. No one was killed
2. I've written about it, I feel better already
3. My son's birthday party is this weekend.
