twenty-seven years and one million words

A month after we break down and buy our first car, TTC improvements and fare reductions occur. Specifically, kids under 12 will now ride free. This eliminates a full third of the cost justification of buying the car. Just one month ago.

Three reasons to be thankful:

1. If this is the worst of our problems, it's still nothing.
2. This will do a lot of good for the city - and certainly make the TTC more effective on the weekend!
3. We at last have someone in charge of the city who gives a fig about the worst problems.
