Ken had an assignment this weekend that was timed to mark the demise of the Canadian penny: that was, to bring in 100 pennies for a charity. I was not surprised that in our home, "the jar" had more than $6 worth in it. And we've only been accumulating low-worth coins in Canada for two years!
