swimming in water

We've been taking the kids to "swimming lessons" recently. Today The Boy suddenly showed us how much more comfortable he's become in the water. He dunks his face, jumps into the water from the deck, and has no trouble with pushing away from the wall etc. If he's got a flotation gizmo, he'll even paddle about quite happily on his own.He was trailing the class, now he's suddenly way ahead.
