welcome 2012
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
Toronto, 2012.01.01
I'm looking forward to 2012, and hopefully a break from the themes of tedium and toil that marked 2011.
Of course, this year we won't be under the thumb of the Canadian immigration people, unable to travel, have health insurance, etc. And I've completed what turned out to be a lengthy and difficult project at work that I won't have to repeat.
That said, we've already arranged for things in 2012 to be eventful. There's a child coming in May, and I'll be doing the PMP course on weekends from next Saturday. Kenny starts school in September. Who knows what else will come up. I'm looking forward to finding out.
