The denouement is now done - we've negotiated a final draft of the audit report.
It's taken 11.5 months, but the final audit report will be in our hands by the end of the week. The little firm I'm working with is now 5970 approved. It's a big deal, it means that they can do business with the lucrative "FRE" market of big banks, life insurance firms, and other wealthy titans.
