Oma and Opa came for a visit last night, and The Boy was giddy with delight. He spent the time showing off his toys. He also showed off his vocabulary, saying "dammit" at an inopportune moment when struggling with a delicate train layout bridge. After dinner, The Boy got a special gift from his grand-uncle Horst, a valuable heirloom and a nice surprise. When it was time to leave, he insisted on endless rounds of hugs and kisses. What an affectionate son and loving grandson. He's very lucky to have five grandparents to dote on him.
