twenty-eight years and a million words

Tokyo, 2010.06.23

I have verified yesterday's results with two further test. Kenny can "read" his name.

Once again at the day care I dumped all of the name-tagged cinch cords onto the counter and asked him to choose his. Smiling the same little smile as yesterday, he once again chose correctly. Then for a change Zi asked him to choose his area in a box that they've divided with string. Each section is for holding the child's clothes for the day and has a label that's black text on a white sticker rather than a plastic tag with the name engraved. But there was no fooling him, he got it right again.
