All of a sudden, The Boy's verbal ability has taken a noticeable step forward. He pointed at his T-rex underwear and said, "dinosaur!" Mari says that he's suddenly started saying things like "sensei bye-bye" at the day care and "これすごい、ね" ("that's amazing, eh?").

His pronunciation is more clear and his vocabulary is much improved. And it's as if his brain just made the vital new connection in the space of a day or two because he's speaking much more clearly than he was even in the middle of this week.
