lens swamp

When helping Jon shop for a new digital SLR camera, yesterday, I noticed an 85mm lens for the Minolta system in a store window.
I have never seen one for sale, before, in all the years I've been using Minolta gear (including about 8-9 years of active browsing for lenses). I'm thinking about picking it up, despite its price -- it's priced in accordance with its rarity, at about three-to-five times the other manual Minolta gear, and about three times what I'd pay for it. Damn!
edit: Just to repeat, I don't need any more lenses!
