Cruise day
the journal of Michael Werneburg
twenty-seven years and one million words
We got a reasonably early start on the day, and went into town where we did a bit of shopping. Mari got some souvenirs for a coworker who smokes -- Canadian cigarette packages with horrible warning images on them.
At lunch, the waitress surprised Mari with the question, "What language do they speak in Tokyo?"
Then we spent the afternoon doing the 30,000 islands boat tour, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area of Midland Ontario.
To wrap up, we had a delightful curry dinner prepared by my mum's cousin Carolyn, and enjoyed the tranquility of the sun setting over Sturgeon Bay.
