What a day

twenty-seven years and one million words
Today a cold I've been dodging for a couple of weeks finally caught up with me and I took the morning off to rest. Getting into work for 12:30, it was business as usual with another near miss of a business outage, and another round of 'splaining to a concerned party or two what it was that I am trying to do. Ah, politics.
Then it was off to Japanese class. Half way through the event, we heard a screech and a thud. Looking out the window, it seemed a taxi had hit a pedestrian. I babbled at our teacher to call "911" (which is not right in Japan, but the EMS came anyway).
Then I walked home, glad for once that I wasn't cycling.
