It's funny, maintaining a relationship with someone on the other side of the Pacific. We'd only dated a few times before I was booted from her country but we're doing quite well online.
It's also refreshing being in a relationship that's not fraught with baggage. I almost don't know how to behave without having to indulge a neurotic partner in "down days" and self-destructive behavior of every kind. I guess in this circumstance I'm clearly the unstable one. Dang.
