Today I found an article on canoe.ca about the recommendation by a member of Parliament that Remembrance Day be made a national holiday, so that we can properly observe the day. The article had a survey attached on whether its readers thought this might be a good idea. I voted, "yes" and checked out the results. With 1800+ responses, over 90% were favourable.
I sent the MP an email about it. Then I told him that at the age of 33 I was finally going to attend my first Remembrance Day ceremony. So now I'm committed.
