Halifax is damn cold

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Halifax, 2004.01.14

It was -21oC on my way home from work, and windy enough to make it feel like -42oC. Cold enough to freeze the corners of my eyes and hurt my legs quite a bit. The funny thing is that that morning it was maybe -4oC. The weather works in odd ways, in this town.

rand()m quote

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

—Douglas Adams
