touring the hurricane damage

Halifax, 2003.10.26

Chako arrived, today. We picked her up after hangover-reduced start, and took her on a tour of the damage to the city from hurricane Juan. Then we went to the coast and took in the worsening weather brooding over the rocks. I got some good pics.

We have rented a van that has turned out to be reasonably comfortable for the four of us. The big test comes tomorrow when we head for the Cabot Trail, of course.
