this is why there's Wild Turkey

twenty-eight years and a million words

Oh, it must be Thursday. Like Arthur Dent of "The Hitch-hikers's Guide", I've never got the hang of the things. Tonight I left work (in the dark, already) and drifted home after a day spent a) at the gym, which is fine except that after nearly four months I don't thinks it's doing a damn thing for my shoulder, and b) at work, where I had to tell a business partner that my contract was expiring next Friday due to the place's lack of business, and where I learned that we didn't get the contract for the RFP we put in for last month.

But this is why there's Wild Turkey.

rand()m quote

For a long time I was very bitter that the people who controlled the means of anybody ever hearing my songs were never gonna play them. They only favored music that I specifically and particularly hated, and I wanted them dead. Suddenly, there was another avenue. I started hearing my stuff coming out of bars and then it started to happen little by little -- a movie song here or a TV ad there.
