cops around in force

There was some commotion around the building as I went home for lunch, today. Quite a bit of commotion, actually. To the tune of several police cars chasing a beat-up white hatchback into the parking lot, at which point four of the police officers (two of whom weren't in uniform) arrested the driver of the hatchback at gunpoint.
The building management later told me that the fellow was the boyfriend of a girl who lives in the building. I'd heard some woman screaming at the cops from the third or fourth floor, so I wasn't too surprised.
Another drug incident, I suppose. At least, that's what plainclothes cops suggests to me.
