Tonight I went to a dinner put together by some people I encountered on craigslist. It was populated by the types you'd expect to find arranging their social lives online, and it was fun.
I asked this couple who'd moved up from the 'States why they decided to leave. The male half - born in Canada but a long time resident of California - had been describing the grinding state of the IT industry down there and the general malaise. But his answer to the direct question was, "Bush!"
Amazing. America is spawning political migrants!
