movie review - Evolution

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Vancouver, 2002.03.05

This is a silly bit of science fiction/comedy about a couple of professors at a community college who discover extra-terrestrial life in a meteorite. Their discovery is made known to the government, which promptly intervenes and screws everything up. Soon ET life is threatening to take over the world, and it's up to our two professors and some team-mates to save the humanity from extinction.

It's a harmless bit of fluff and quite a bit of fun in spots.

Recommended.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.
