I decided, for the first time in almost a decade, to try out one or two of the chat apps that are out there. It seems that there's been a bit of an advance there, in that people are moving to voice-over-IP chat rather than strictly typing messages in. This means you can go to a chat site such as yahoo.ca and hop from country to country listening to wacky accents from around the world. It was quite amusing. Of course, the content was the same as it ever was; flame wars, anonymous flirting, uninformed rants...
