And I thought photographing butterflies was hard. At least butterflies can't hear the mirror in your SLR camera reflexing and be four metres away by the time the shutter is open!
I'm quite pleased with this shot. I had a rather slow (and inferior) telephoto lens, so I was using my wide-to-telephoto 35-70mm zoom lens. I also had no shutter release cable, so I was doing this by hand. Try sneaking a hand over to a camera from a tabletop and not disturbing a hummingbird, some time. It's hard!
