movie review - Payback

I suspect that this was intended to be an action/comedy, but the thin humor is almost entirely based around violence. Violence permeates throughout - almost no character in the movie escapes death or assault, but the unpleasant nature of the cast of scumbags makes it hard to sympathize with anyone. Of course, that's how the movie is billed....
