movie review - Doom Generation

the journal of Michael Werneburg

Toronto, 1999.04.02

Very raunchy, including near-continuous nudity and some scenes many viewers will find disturbing, this flick is about three teenage losers on an unintentional killing spree in California. They pursue a manage-a-trois with bored fatalism, and wind up in a good deal of trouble.

Recurring themes such as the number 666 and minor characters mistaking the lead character for former loves (or love slaves) pass as a plot (or backdrop, it's hard to tell).

Strangely enough, this movie features cameos by Parry Ferril and Heidi Fleiss (spelling intentionally left questionable given my lack of interest).

Not recommended.
