so this is Tokyo

I got home at nearly 21:00 tonight, about 45 hours after I set off. There is a health crisis in the extended family, my Japanese SIM isn't working, the last medaka died while I was away, there was no gluten-free meal waiting for me on the plane, and I have to run errands in the rain first thing tomorrow.

Three reasons to be thankful:

1. Our son is ensconced in his school program
2. The o-miyage I brought back were well received
3. It wasn't 90 hours
