so this is Utrecht

It seems there was a bit of a mix up at the university hotel as to whether I'm to be fed while here. I paid for a small breakfast and when they realized that I was in fact supposed to have something arranged, offered me a free bike rental instead.

So I cycled to Utrecht, which appears to be a vibrant and beautiful place. I nearly caused some collisions by looking left instead of right when entering a street, and turning onto the left lane instead of the right. I'm sure I traumatized the town for years to come.

I did manage to find a nice lunch combo.

Then I hauled the old steel bike back on the road and got to a grocery store to stock up a bit before heading back to my humble room.
