first pass management software for micro-four-thirds

Kokubunji, 2026.04.10

I have made some software to curate and tweak RAW photos taken with micro four thirds equipment from Panasonic, Olympus, and OM System. It is not intended as a full-featured editor — just a fast, focused tool for the M4/3 shooter's workflow: quick tonal and colour adjustments, crop and rotation, light-touch sharpen and denoise and that's about it. It is 100% vibe-coded and runs on MacOS or on Linux for Intel (installs from a .deb, .rpm, or .AppImage file).

this is a typical raw file
with one click, you can approximate the camera's JPG look
With one preset, you can make a certain look
it's keyboard navigable
version one supports English, French, Japanese, and Chinese
identify clipped highlights
...and crushed shadows
and of course, export to JPG or TIF

So if you shoot raw on micro four thirds and export to JPG or TIF for your workflow, I'm planning this free four->tif utility I called Fourtify. I'm currently looking for people to help me test it. Contact: michael@werneburg.ca
