extinction database 1.0 is complete

For the past couple of weeks, I've been fleshing out the database on the extinctions-timeline database for While You Live. It's now got 372 records, spanning from 1900 through 2100 (Ariba coffee). It's a terrible litany of daices, skinks, snails, songbirds, trees, and rhinos. And it's not really getting better: I mean, I'm about to turn 55, but even I am going to outlive the Bornean elephant and maybe the Africa forest elephant. It's been an education, and I know that several early users got the sentiment immediately.
Now I just need to work on the site's copy. I think I'll reach out to the WWF and see what they think.
