We're in Nichinan, visiting with Mari's family. It occurs to me only now that giving the kids noise cancelling headphones for X'mas and then expecting to ever speak to them again was a bit moronic.
P.S. The records show this was my 202th flight, my 22th trip to Kyushu, and my 11th trip to Miyazaki. Very auspicious and palindromic numbers.
Three good things that happened today:
- At work, we broke our change freeze but everything tested out well
- No delays or screw-ups though we took four trains, one plane, and two automobiles
- I was nihongo jyouzu'd by the stewardess
Three reasons to be thankful:
- Mari and I can relax for a few days
- I've put one day behind me without migraine drugs. Just 6,210 left (according to my life expectancy).
- It was a beautiful day
