movie review - Venom: The Last Dance

Well, movie names aren't getting any less dumb, but this third installment in a series of super-anti-hero flicks was a happy surprise. When I am on an airplane I don't like to watch anything that requires too much attention because of all the interruptions. So I chose this action flick and wound up being impressed by its engaging characters and fun plot. It's played with a certain sentimentality as it is definitely the final piece of the series, but that's OK as the character around which the story is centered has basically nothing else. I enjoyed the tone, the sufficient intelligence of the plot, and how it ended with unusual finality for one of these super-hero things.
